Offered for sale here is a Rolex Submariner ‘Kermit’ Ref. 16610LV which forms part of the first production batch dating it to 2003 and remains in unworn condition or NOS (New Old Stock).
The glossy dial is flawless.
The stainless steel is unpolished, thick and very sharp, with only the faintest signs from storage. The case back preserves its original protective sticker with the reference number partially worn away but still visible. The back of the lugs don’t show any spring bar marks at all.The original ‘Flat Four’ insert is the best we have ever seen. It is as lime as it can get, and it remains flawless without any mark at all.
It comes fitted on its Rolex Oyster 93250 stainless steel bracelet with CL6 clasp date code that preserves one of its original protective stickers on the clasp. It shows no stretch and light storage signs.
It is in full working order, keeping great time, although service history is unknown.
It comes with the bezel protector, serialized hang tag, wallet, calendar, translation leaflet, original punched guarantee papers showing it was sold by a Rolex retailer in Caracas, Venezuela, and the matching, original sales receipt that shows it was sold in 2004.
This is indeed a great opportunity to own one of the first series of an already iconic Rolex in unbeatable condition.
Macros of the dial and case, as well as reference and serial number pictures are available under request.
