Like New 1971 Rolex Datejust Ref. 1603 ‘Wide Boy’ Full Set

First released in 1945, it marked forty years of Rolex timepieces. Today, it holds a spot in even the most exclusive collections, and remains one of the most popular timepieces among both men and women.

Here is offered a classic design Rolex Datejust, the reference 1603, with a beautiful silver ‘Wide Boy’. This nickname is after the wider hour markers and it is a very rare variant.

 

With a nice stainless steel fluted bezel, a beautiful dial, and perfectly matching patina lume plots, this flawless piece in excellent condition is the perfect daily beater.

 

Cased in a 36mm excluding the original screw-down crown, this all stainless steel case shows some marks due to light use but remains in a mint condition. The waterproof case back also remains sharp with few marks. The original acrylic crystal has minor scratches.

 

It is suited on the original 19mm Rolex Oyster folded links bracelet 7836 with 258 end links date stamped 4/71.

 

Furthermore, it comes with a very complete kit, including inner box, stamped guarantee booklet, guarantee papers, wallet with original sticker, translation leaflet and Datejust advertisement card.
