This 16710 offered here is one of the most beautiful examples we have ever seen, preserved in outstanding original condition.
It features a flawless black glossy dial, light creamy, matching tritium patina hour markers and hands, and original faded to pink Serif font insert making the face of this watch stunning in contrasts.
The 40mm stainless steel case remains unpolished with very sharp bevels. The case back also remains unpolished.
The original owner couldn’t decide whether he preferred Oyster or Jubilee so he asked for both when purchasing the watch. So, it comes with not one but TWO bracelets; one 20mm Rolex Oyster 78360 stainless steel bracelet with 501B end links and date code V1, and one 20mm Rolex Jubilee 72510H stainless steel bracelet with 555 end links and date stamp T2. Both correct for the reference and the period, and both preserved in excellent condition showing very little stretch. You don’t need to choose any more between Oyster or Jubilee, just swap them whenever you feel!
The watch is running excellent and keeping time although service history is unknown.
It is presented as a full set which includes outer box with sticker, inner box, wallet, translation leaflet, calendar, hang tag, GMT-Master and Oyster manuals, and stamped guarantee papers showing it was sold in March 1996 in Japan.
