The example presented here is in flawless condition. The black glossy dial is perfect, with no blemishes, spotting or stains contrasting perfectly with the applied indices. The tritium lume has aged to a beautiful heavy cream color, matching with that on the diver’s pearl. As normally seen on these, the hands have aged to a lighter tone. It features a 2-liner no date dial, just as the original Subs from the early 50s. The unidirectional bezel is also mint. The stainless-steel case is preserved in very good condition showing sharp chamfers.
It is running at COSC specs although service history is unknown.
It comes suited on the original 20mm Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 501B end links and clasp code R9. It has hardly any stretch at all.
This one is presented in a full kit; outer and inner boxes, original guarantee papers (showing it was sold by a Spanish jeweler, country where we bought it from first owner), manuals, wallet, translation booklet and calendar.
Indeed, a beautiful watch with sporty yet classy looks perfect for any time and that will certainly keep seeing an increase in value over the next few years.
