This example offered here is a two-tone ref. 16013 which dates to 1985 and features a rarely seen golden champagne ‘linen’ dial.
The bright, golden champagne dial with linen texture is flawless, featuring complete and perfect creamy patina hue lume plots matching with that on the hands.
The case is presented in great shape too, preserved in what looks like unpolished condition, featuring thick, sharp lugs and showing normal wear. The case back also preserves factory finishes and shows normal signs of use.
The 18K yellow gold bezel remains also in great condition with no mayor dents or scratches.
The original acrylic crystal is very clean.
It comes suited on its original Rolex Jubilee 62523H 18 stainless steel and 18K yellow gold bracelet with 455 end links and period correct clasp with code J3 (1985) that presents normal stretch for its age. It features a subtle purple patina on the gold links, giving it tons of character.
The watch is running great and keeping time, as it was recently serviced in 2023.
Macros of dial and case are available under request, as well as service pictures.
