1984 Rolex Datejust Ref. 16013 'Wide boy’ Champagne Linen dial two tone

First released in 1945, it marked forty years of Rolex timepieces. Today, it holds a spot in even the most exclusive collections and remains one of the most popular timepieces among both men and women.

 

Loved for its sporty yet elegant design, the present-day Datejust is available in varied sizes, many case and bezel metals, and with seemingly unlimited dials.

This example here is a two-tone ref. 18013 which dates to 1984.

 

The condition of this piece is stunning, featuring a mint ‘wide boy’ Linen champagne dial with perfect and complete yellow patina lume plots. This nickname stands for the wider baton applied hour markers.

 

The case is presented in superb condition too, showing little wear and remaining sharp. The case back also preserves factory finishes and shows minor signs of wear.

 

The 18K YG bezel remains also in great condition with no mayor dents or scratches.

 

The watch comes on its original 20mm Rolex Jubilee stainless-steel bracelet 62523 H18 with 455 end links and clasp code M4 that presents little stretch and remains in excellent condition.

 

The watch is running great and keeping time, although service history is unknown.
