Offered for sale here is an extremely beautiful example of the most particular version in our opinion; a MK2. It features a flawless black matte dial with vanilla lume plots and matching hands. The original silver date wheel and open 6 and 9 gives the watch tons of character too.
The original bezel insert is stunning, showing a ‘ghosted’ aging and tritium pearl/pip.
The case remains thick with no mayor dents or scratches. The case back is found in the same condition.
The automatic cal. 1575, which are the same as the cal. 1570 but with a date function, being actually labeled 1570 on them, is running great as it was serviced by Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc. in 2015 as stated in the original service invoice and Rolex Service Centre card.
It is suited on the original Rolex Oyster 93150 stainless steel solid links bracelet with 593 end links, clasp code AD3 and divers’ extension that presents very little stretch.
If this wasn’t enough, this example here is a super full set which includes outer box, inner box, trip-lock crown badge, winding remainder label, hang tag, anchor, manuals, calendar, wallet, Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc. service invoice, Rolex Service Centre card, and original stamped guarantee papers showing it was sold in the USA by an AD named Walzel’s Inc. back in 1977.
Indeed, a very complete and stunning example.
