Offered for sale here is a classic Datejust Ref. 1603, but with a lovely, rare, and very sought-after ‘Ghost’ dial.
The gray matte ‘Ghost’ dial, nicknamed like this as the white dial printings “disappear” with the light gray background under certain angles, is preserved in stunning, flawless, mint, perfect condition, with no blemishes, stains, or marks. The lume plots are all complete and feature an amazing cheesy patina hue. The original hands have aged to a matching tone.
The stainless steel “engine turned” bezel remains crisp, letting shows some normal marks from wear and age.
The stainless steel case remains in good condition, preserved thick, and showing some marks from use, but with no mayor dents. The case back remains in the same condition.
It is suited on the original Rolex Oyster 6251H Jubilee stainless steel bracelet with 55 end links that presents normal wear and stretch for its age.
It is running well and keeping time, as it was fully serviced the past year.
