1973 Rolex Datejust Ref. 1603 'Pie-Pan dial'

First released in 1945, it marked forty years of Rolex timepieces. Today, it holds a spot in even the most exclusive collections, and remains one of the most popular timepieces among both men and women.

Loved for its sporty yet elegant design, the present-day Datejust is available in varied sizes, many case and bezel metals, and with seemingly unlimited dials.

Here is offered a classic design Rolex Datejust, the reference 1603, with a beautiful silver ‘Pie-Pan Dial’.

With a nice stainless steel fluted bezel, a beautiful dial, and perfectly matching patina lume plots, this flawless piece in excellent condition is the perfect daily beater.

Cased in a 36mm excluding the original screw-down crown, this all-stainless-steel case shows very sharp lugs with factory finishes. The waterproof case back also remains sharp and preserving the original finish. The original acrylic crystal has light scratches and a minor dent on the left edge.

It is suited on the original 20mm Rolex Oyster 7836 bracelet with 358 end links and date stamped 2/72 that presents stretch.

The automatic cal. 1570 is running great and keeping time as it has just been fully serviced by our qualified watchmaker.
