The example offered here is a Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 1675 from 1972.
The MK2 matte dial is flawless, showing little wear if any, and featuring lume plots that have aged to a light creamy patina hue. The original handset has aged to a tone a few shades darker.
The stainless steel case is preserved in superb condition, showing thick lugs, sharp bevels and factory brushed finishes. It shows minimal wear signs. The case back remains in similar condition. The ‘Pepsi’ insert has faded very nicely.
It is fitted on its original Rolex Oyster 7836 folded-links stainless steel bracelet with clasp code 4/72 which is equally good condition, with barely no stretch and with only faint signs of wear for its age.
The watch is running great and keeping time, as it has been fully serviced recently.
The acrylic crystal is clean.
Macros of dial and case are available under request, as well as movement, inner case back and service pictures.
