The watch offered here for sale is a two-tone Rolex Datejust Ref. 1601 from 1971.
The sunburst finish ‘Pie-Pan’ champagne dial remains in mint condition, showing only light wear. All lume plots are complete and intact, having aged to a creamy patina hue, matching with that on the original hands.
The stainless steel case remains in good condition, showing normal signs of wear. The case back remains in the same condition. The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is also in great shape, with no mayor dents or scratches, and featuring a subtle patina.
The original acrylic crystal remains clean.
The watch is running well and keeping time, as it has been fully serviced recently.
It is suited on an unworn handmade leather strap with golden buckle.
Macros of dial and case, as well as movement, inner case back and service pictures are available under request.
