1969 Rolex Datejust Ref. 1603 'Pie-Pan Dial'

First released in 1945, it marked forty years of Rolex timepieces. Today, it holds a spot in even the most exclusive collections, and remains one of the most popular timepieces among both men and women.

Loved for its sporty yet elegant design, the present-day Datejust is available in varied sizes, many case and bezel metals, and with seemingly unlimited dials.

Here is offered a classic design Rolex Datejust, the reference 1603, with a beautiful silver ‘Pie-Pan Dial’.

With a nice stainless steel fluted bezel, a beautiful dial, and perfectly matching patina lume plots, this flawless piece in excellent condition is the perfect daily beater.

Cased in a 36mm excluding the original screw-down crown, this all-stainless-steel case shows some light use and storage marks but remains in a mint, unpolished condition. The waterproof case back also remains sharp with very few marks. The original acrylic crystal has no scratches.

It is suited on the original 19mm Rolex Jubilee bracelet 6251H with 55 end links and date stamped 1/69.

The automatic cal. 1570 is running great and keeping time as it has just been fully serviced by our qualified watchmaker.
