Offered here for sale is a beautiful vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, the reference 1500, in unique condition.
The original grey dial has tropicalized in a unique manner, which makes the original white disappear on certain angles and lighting condition, making it a 'ghost' dial, a feature very sough-after nowadays. The lume on the hour markers has acquired a creamy patina. The original hands present a slighlty whiter patina.
The 34mm excluding the original crown all stainless-steel case shows some signs of wear but remains very complete. The stainless-steel smooth bezel remains in the same condition.
The waterproof case back shows some marks, again, from normal wear.
The watch has been recently serviced and it’s running well and keeping time.
It is suited on its original and rare 19mm Rolex Riveted 7205 stainless-steel bracelet with 57 end links and clasp date stamp 2 66. It shows some light stretch from use.
