2003 Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV 'Kermit' Full Set 'Flat Four'

Rolex released the Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV also known as ‘Kermit’ in 2003 in celebration of the Submariner’s 50th anniversary. Its production was discontinued in 2010, making this model very sough-after, specially the earlier versions.

 

The main feature of this watch was the vivid green bezel insert, making it instantly recognizable. The ‘maxi’ dial which displays a larger hour marker than previous Submariners is also a distinctive feature of this ‘Kermit’ Sub.

This example is one of the earliest ever produced being part of the F0 series. It remains in lovely original condition. The dial is flawless, the first series ‘Flat Four’ insert is in great condition and presents a beautiful lime color making it very eye catching. The case remains in unpolished condition, presenting thick lugs with sharp chamfers. The case back remains unmolested too.

 

The lume glows bright.

 

It is in full working order, keeping great time.

 

It comes suited on the original 20mm Rolex 93250 0yster stainless steel bracelet with end links engraved AD 93250 and clasp date stamped AD7.

 

The watch presented here comes as a full set, including outer box with reference and color stickers, inner box, manuals, wallet, anchor, and stamped guarantee papers showing it was sold in 2003 by a dealer in Spain, place where we bought it from the original owner.
