The stepped black matte dial is perfect with any spots, stains or marks, featuring a painted Omega logo and tritium indices with a lovely yellow lume. The original hands are also mint, and with matching lume. The original DNN bezel is superb too.
The case of this example is razor sharp and unpolished. As well as the case back which lets clearly visible the historical engravings. The crown and pushers are original too, as it also is the acrylic crystal with the Omega logo on the center.
The cal. 861 has been fully serviced and it is running great and keeping time.
It comes suites on its original and unpolished flat links extensible Omega stainless steel 1039 bracelet with 516 end links and correctly date stamped 4/71. It comes complete with all links and shows very little stretch.
The Omega Extract From the Archives will be provided with the watch, confirming that it was manufactured in 1971 and delivered to Singapore on the 2nd July of the same year.
It was found directly from the son of the original owner after an old house emptying. The pureness of this example, with that lume color, that clean dial and that sharp lines of the case, is only found on drawer finds like this one. Condition is king and this one is in museum condition.
