1979 Rolex Datejust Ref. 16013 Champagne 'Linen' dial two-tone

First released in 1945, it marked forty years of Rolex timepieces. Today, it holds a spot in even the most exclusive collections and remains one of the most popular timepieces among both men and women.

 

Loved for its sporty yet elegant design, the present-day Datejust is available in varied sizes, many case and bezel metals, and with seemingly unlimited dials.

This example here is a two-tone ref. 18013 which dates to 1979.

 

The condition of this piece is LOVELY, featuring a mint Linen champagne dial with complete yellow patina lume plots.

 

The case is presented in great condition too, showing some normal wear but remaining thick. The case back is also in nice condition and shows minor signs of wear.

 

The 18K YG bezel shows no mayor dents or scratches.

 

The watch comes on its original 20mm Rolex Jubilee stainless-steel and yellow gold bracelet 62523H 18 with 455 end links and clasp code J10 that presents some normal stretch for its age.

 

The watch is running great and keeping time, although service history is unknown.
