1995 Rolex Submariner 'Date' Ref. 16610 with Box and Papers

The Rolex Submariner 16610 was first introduced in 1989 as a Date model with a water resistance of 300 meters (1000 feet). This model was produced until 2010 when it was discontinued and replaced with the Submariner Date 116610 model.

This example offered here is part of the first era of tritium ref. 16610, which dates to 1995.

 

The dial is flawless, preserving its gloss and featuring a lovely light creamy hue patina.

 

The original bezel insert is also presented in great condition, with only some minor signs of normal wear.

 

The previously polished case is in great shape too, remaining thick and with hardly any visible signs of use. The case back is in the same condition.

 

It is in full working order, keeping great time, as it has been recently serviced.

 

It comes suited on the original 20mm Rolex Oyster 93150 stainless steel bracelet with 501B end links, clasp code W10 and divers’ extension that remains in great shape with hardly any stretch at all and no mayor signs of wear.

 

Furthermore, it is presented as a full set which includes outer box with color sticker, inner box, wallet, manuals, hang tags and original guarantee papers showing it was sold in June 1995 by a Rolex Retailer in Japan.
