The design showcases the mélange of eras and fused in a very appealing way.
This example is one of the rarest variations, as the more common version had a bakelite bezel and a tachymetre scale on the dial. However, this version shows a Tachymetre bezel with a minute’s track on the dial.
The black dial has beautifully aged to an even tropical dial which contrasts with the white sub-dials and yellow patina hour markers, all melded into the rest of the dial seamlessly.
The 38mm all stainless-steel case remains in very good condition, preserving sharp edges. The case back remains in great shape too, letting visible all printings and having the original protection sticker still present.
It has a Zenith El Primero 3019 PHC movement revered for its high frequency at 36,000 vibrations per hour.
