1976 Rolex Date Ref. 1500 'Dark gray matte dial’

 

Offered here for sale is a beautiful vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, the reference 1500, in great condition.

 

The tritium lume is original and intact, it has aged to a beautiful yellow-ish patina color, contrasting with the mint dark gray matte dial (any scratches you might see are on the crystal). The lume on the hour markers and plots is perfectly even and matching with that on the original hands.

 

The 34mm excluding the original crown all stainless steel case shows some signs of polishing and marks due to normal use. Stainless steel smooth bezel.

 

Waterproof case back with some marks again from normal wear.

 

The watch has been serviced by our qualified watchmaker and it is running good and keeping time.
