The Rolex Submariner 5513 was introduced in 1962 with no COSC printing on the dial (different from the 5512) and was the perfect tool watch for professional divers. First with the caliber 1530 and then, during the same year, with the caliber 1520 and updated crown-guard design.

This particular example with serial number 1,193,xxx dates back from 1964. It features a beautiful tropical gilt stardust dial with excellent matching patina tritium markers and hands. The tropical dial has aged so well that the gilt printing remains untouched (no letters or parts missing) with an even more intense color. The faded ghost bezel is in very good condition as well as the matching patina on the pearl. The fat 38mm stainless steel case is in good condition. The caseback is signed 5513-165 and has some marks due to normal wear. The watch has been fully serviced by our qualified watchmaker and it’s running good.
